Rock ‘n’ Rococo Affair from Kip Jon Productions and Rock House Style

On June 8, 2013, Kip Jon Productions, in conjunction with local sponsors, staged the premier couture fashion show, Rock ‘n Rococo Affair in Kelowna, BC. The 18th Century-inspired event featured local designer-talent Sam Shakura, of Kelowna’s Rock House Style. Contrasting a unique setting with modern and lust-worthy fashions, the show brought a spotlight to Okanagan Valley’s visual arts scene.

The “Affair” was of fashion-week quality, unveiling the latest designs to an audience of design aficionados, private collectors and familiar faces from the entertainment industry. Those who attended this exclusive event experienced performances from local dancers and musicians, demonstrating talent from local models, choreographers, make-up and hair artists, and fashion stylists. The “Affair” was truly a fusion of the visionary arts put on by the Okanagan’s best in the industry.

Kip Jon Productions supports local and Canadian fashion, dance, music and design. By developing professional partnerships and broadening the range of artistic work and professional networks, the art scene will only grow within the community.Previous events by Kip Jon Productions include the Opus Fashion Show in Vancouver BC, which was voted one of the Top 12 social events in British Columbia in 2012, and Andrew Allan’s double sold out show in Vernon, as well as production support to events in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Its founder (Kip Jon) was recently featured on Season 2 Episode 3 of “The Real Housewives of Vancouver”.
